Quick Facts

• 12-hour shifts — 6 am – 6 pm and 6 pm – 6 am, days and nights
• Goal of 10 – 12 shifts of coverage per month
• 4 – 12 patients per day
• Inpatient hospital setting — rounding and admissions required
• Pediatric patients ages 0 – 17
• LPs preferred but not required for APPs — resident support available
