A Pathology Assistant Is Needed for Locums Help in Tennessee

$2608 - $3643/wk Per week (based on a 40-hour work week). Includes estimated taxable wages of $40.00 - $58.00 per hour and estimated tax-free reimbursements for meals, incidentals, and housing of $1,008 - $1,323 per week based on GSA guidelines (subject to eligibility, location, and seasonal adjustment).

Quick Facts

  • Monday through Friday schedule — 8 am – 4:30 pm with no call
  • 60 – 80 small specimens and 40 – 60 large specimens daily
  • Focus on gross examination with occasional frozen sections
  • Regular breast, bowel, and gynecologic specimen processing
  • Handles variety of specimens including endometrial, urologic, and joint tissues
  • Less frequent exposure to pulmonary, thyroid, and lymph node specimens
  • No accessions or autopsies required
  • Specimen workload includes regular lumpectomies and mastectomies
