An OR Facility Is Searching for a Locums Pediatric Hospitalist

Quick Facts

  • 24-hour call coverage with 8 hours rounding — 7am to 7am shifts
  • Level 1 nursery: 4 – 6 patients/day, Level 2 nursery: 2 – 4 patients/day
  • 18-bed pediatric ward with focus on Level 2 nursery care
  • Not required to attend births — only examine and treat newborns
  • Minimal callback requirements
  • Recent experience required in intubation, vent management, and umbilical lines
  • Coverage includes inpatient pediatrics and ED consults
  • 2 – 3 day orientation provided
