Quick Facts

  • 3 shifts per week, 13 hours each (7am – 8pm or 7pm – 8am), nights/weekends/holidays
  • 8 – 12 patient encounters per shift
  • Level I Trauma Center with 30-bed cardiac ICU unit
  • PA License Required
  • Works under guidance of Intensivist with 2 other APP staff
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Experience with ECMO, Impella, LVAD and cardiac transplant required
  • Performs arterial lines, central lines, swan ganz catheter, IABP removal
